Some Knowledge

In each foot you have 26 bones, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles.
This means that 25% of the bones in your body are located in your feet.
With each step the impact from the ground is making a wave which travels up the leg at 200km/h from joint to joint (ankle, knee, hip and spine). 

The objective

Correct the foot’s balance (joints, muscles, tendons) giving a better position for the person to walk in the correct way,

It can help and might correct :

• Toes’ corrections (hammertoes).
• Pronation - Supination
• Achilles Tendonitis.
• Bunions.
• Neuromas.
• Plantar Fasciitis.
• Sesamoiditis.
• Improve sport performances
• Prevention on general foot disorder.

After a full biomechanical assessment, your GAIT (the way you walk) is computerized with latest pressure platform and your feet are casted with Plaster of Paris or with foam in order to customize orthotics which are going to be incorporated in shoes.
Different materials can be used and I only use the finest of them.

The pressure calculator which is placed on the floor is used to gather information as you walk across.

The insole/insert/orthotics will be made especially for your feet. It is manufactured by myself in a high technology lab in Central London.
This means you can, most of the time, get your orthotics within the next 2 weeks, sometimes even less.
Orthotics are not sent to any company to manufacture them.

The fitting is booked at the same clinic where you had your consulation and most adjustments can be done directly on site.

Alternatively I can arrange your first podiatry consulation without treatment and we will discuss if you are a candidate for orhtotics.

I provide a Podiatry package including:

• First appointment: Full Biomechanical Assessment, Gait Analysis by computer, Feet casting.
• Second appointment: Fitting of orthotics and test report.
• 1 month follow up and adjustment if required.
