01/ I don’t feel anything bad with my feet why should I come to see you ?

Because prevention is better than cure, it’s the minimum your feet deserve. If you never had any foot check up, you should get one twice a year.

02/ Can you explain to me the difference between your Chiropody session and a regular pedicure?

Our treatment thinks of you as a whole person. Our medical knowledge can give you the best advice for your feet. We are using the latest technology for any of our tools to give you the best service. The results you will get after are unique. We can use treatments only available with a Chiropodist/Podiatrist.

03/ Who is coming to see you and how often ?

Generally I have 50% men 50% women from different kind of worker. The frequency varies a lot. After the first appointment, I will tell you how often you need a treatment.

04/ Why don’t you paint nails in your session ?

This is two different jobs. It is the beauty therapist’s job. What would you think if your dentist will paint your teeth instead of cleaning them?

05/ I have painted nails can I get a treatment ?

Obviously yes! But what is recommended is to remove it before the appointment. Nail polish covering the nail has to be removed to do the treatment. Many times under nail polish, we discover a yellow aspect of the nail. It could be from fungus, but many times is just the use of nail polish which makes it weaker day after day then the nail start to change the colour. Generally after one treatment you get your nails back at their original natural shining.

06/ I'm pregnant - I'm under medication - I'm diabetic - can I get a foot treatment ?

Yes you can have any of our service. Sometimes it’s even a must. Just let us know everything about your health before we start any treatment.

07/ I am diabetic what can you do ?

Diabetes damage many body’s part and one of them is the vascularisation and the nervous system. It is responsible for many amputations. There are actually one million amputations in world per year for diabetic people. Generally 70% of amputations start from a diabetic problem. An often simply check-up can prevent this. Even if you are not diabetic but you know someone who is, you will help him to make him aware to be check by us. I invested in equipment for vascular assessment (Doppler) and neurological assessment.

08/ I don’t like medical tools, medical environment. How can you convince me ?

If we use medical tools is simply to not make you feel as comfortable as possible giving you the most professional answer to your concern.

09/ My legs are heavy can you help me ?

Yes, come over and I will be pleased to explain everything I can do to help.

10/ I sometimes feel insecure on my feet, I don’t feel a good balance can you help me ?

The podiatry is for you, we are going to check your feet balance, and then you will feel the difference quickly.
